These Italian-style homes were built in the 2012-16 timeframe. The luxury townhomes include the Albero, The Barone, and The Capello floorplans. The Albero floorplan is a ranch-style attached home with a grand 2-story foyer. Everything you need is on the main floor, including laundry and the master suite. The Albero has about 1500 of main floor square footage, and a total of 2700 SF, including the basement.
The Barone’s claim to fame is the expansive great room that shares a 2-story fireplace with the kitchen. This model is a 2-story home, with the master suite on the upper level. It also comes standard with a finished basement. This home boasts roughly 2800 total square feet.
The Capello floorplan has about 2600 total square feet. This home has a main floor master and a finished basement.
These 3 townhome floorplans all have attached 2-car garages.
There are also some smaller condos (about 1100- 1600 SF) in the 55+ portion of this community. The units have between 1-3 bedrooms and all of them have 2 bathrooms. These units have elevator access.
The original builder of Verona was the Verona Building Company. They had big plans for a clubhouse, pool, etc. And they were planning to build storage units along the south side of the community, adjacent to C-470. They ended up abandoning this pursuit. All of the homes in the 55+ part of Verona are along Primo Rd.
Century Communities came in and took over and are completing the build out of the community. The newer units are not slated to be restricted to 55+ occupants. All of the Century homes are 2 and 3 level townhomes. The community has opted not to put in a clubhouse/pool/storage units.
Another interesting tidbit about this community is that even though the property physically sits in Highlands Ranch, it is NOT part of the HRCA district, and therefore, Verona residents do not pay for or have access to the Highland Ranch rec centers. It is part of the Hunting Hill Metro District, which is a very tiny metro district and utilizes both the Highlands Ranch and south suburban metro districts for certain things. Verona is part of the South Suburban Parks and Recreation District, and get resident rates for those facilities. Verona property taxes include a mill levy for SSPRD. Highland Ranch Metro District is the provider of water/sewer, fire & emergency services, public works, parks & recreation for Verona.
